Three days in a row?!?!
Okay, I'm hoping to get your input on my dilemma. I finally decided to look into the online dating options. I just don't seem to meet folks outside of work and that has been disastrous! I'm surprised on the cost of these sites! I want to hear from all of you and your experiences with this way of finding people.
Thank you in advance.

Marta. Marta, Marta... I'm sorry that you're having problems in the dating world. I am gonna tell you right off that I really wish that if I lived in your area, I would've at least tried to take you out on a date. You're a fantastic woman, and you always make me smile. Just don't give up. eharmony is good, as well as Match.com. MySpace is excellent for the "thrifty" dater. Hang in there, M!
Casey and I met online ... but it was before they were really charging ... I've heard good things about eHarmony (ie finding someone you really connect with vs. just wanna date).
Good luck!
Online hookups never work.

Thanks for the kind words, Travis. A co-worker has talked me into Face Book. He says it is a "cleaner" way to meet people. We shall see.
Hey T, long time no see? How is my baby? Give that hunk of man (and Casey too) a big sloppy kiss!
Bill, you and Betse met online!
Do E-Harmony. If I had not scored so big time by accident that is where I would go. Trust in Science.
Deeg,
Are you pitching in to the down payment on E-Harmony?
Say hello to Mrs. Muther Fucker.

Marta-
you should check out plentyoffish.com, it's free and it worked for me. I met a handful of nice girls through there and have been dating one since the beginning of Feb.
http://mingle2.com/ is also free, might be worth checking too. I met a girl there and we ended up being good friends, can't complain about that.
