I don't feel this should be categorized as procrastination. I had it
in a mental list of things to do on my "Vacation" of three days off. (July 6th-8th) I
simply forgot to complete the task but am making up for lost time as I
can especially at work since it is for work. I have known for more than a
month that I needed to complete my continuing education (CE) modules
for both my Oregon and National licenses. The Oregon is once per year
and I need 10 credits with one of those being about Law. Most of the
CE's take about 20ish minutes but you get 2 credits. The National is
every 2 years and 20 credits with 2 being law. The Oregon Board is a
government site online so not user friendly! The PTCB is so wonderful to
use! They have a button to click on from the main page that walks you
through the recert process. It took less than ten minutes to add in my
completed CE info and get to the payment page! It also cost less to
recert the National. $40 for two years vs $52.50 for one year of Oregon.
Notice the odd number in the Oregon sum? The $2.50 is a survey they
make you take AND it costs!
The good news is I got it all done in a timely manner to stay in good graces within Pharmacy law. Yay.Labels: pharmacy, Pharmacy Tech, procrastination
